It's Thanksgiving weekend of 2017. I think it's still Thanksgiving weekend?
I am? was? on break from grad school at George Mason University, so I decided to go down to hike the Appalachian Trail. Yeah, it's probably a bit late in the year to do a hike like that, but I didn't mind.
I stumbled across this path that didn't look like it should be there. I didn't want to go down it, but it felt like something was... forcing me. I tried to resist.
The next thing I knew, I woke up in the bedroom of an abandoned house.
I left the house to find I was in an abandoned town. I've been exploring, and it doesn't look like I can leave the town. And there's no cell phone service.
